The first female porcelain painters worked in the underglaze and floral decoration departments. Whereas women were a distinct minority at the Manufactory in those days, they now greatly outnumber their male counterparts in all areas of production. The tour takes you on a voyage of discovery, intertwining the stories behind selected exhibits with gripping biographies and affording illuminating glimpses into social history.
