Our guided tours, with audio guides or personal guide, take about 40 minutes.
Public tours through the Demonstration Workshops:
With an audio guide in 14 languages: Chinese, Danish, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Spanish and Czech - daily from 10 am.
The audio guide is included in the entrance fee
Additionally, we offer personal guided tours in German through our Demonstration Workshops. You can find the timetable on our German page under “Kalender”.
Price per person: EUR 17
No. However, for groups of 10 or more, we recommend that you book in advance. You will also have the opportunity to book personal guided tours and/or individual slots in your desired languages for our Demonstration Workshops.
Yes. You can always explore the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation on your own. The audio-guided tour through the Demonstration Workshops is also included in the entrance fee.
Yes. Audio-guided tours are available in 14 languages: Chinese, Danish, German, English, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Spanish, and Czech. Within any given slot, up to three languages are offered simultaneously.
Exclusive tours are available in 11 languages:Chinese, German, English, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Czech.
Yes. Exclusive tours of the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation are possible with a personal guide. In addition to the historical highlights from 300 years of manufacturing history, this guided tour also allows you to see how porcelain is produced in the Demonstration Workshops. To book a tour, please contact us in advance.
Yes. If your dog fits in a bag, you may take it with you to the exhibition areas and Demonstration Workshops. We only allow larger dogs in the MEISSEN Store and Café Meissen.
Yes, there are elevators and stairlifts, as well as accessible toilets. We are happy to offer tours for the blind or visually impaired as well as tours for guests with disabilities. Please contact us in advance.
Yes. Photography and filming for private use are allowed. Please photograph exclusively without flash, tripods, or selfie sticks.
